We're still here! we've been a bit radio silent because we've been working on a partnership deal with Loopmasters.
We wanted to say a few words about why we decided to go with Loopmasters for distributing our packs.
For some time now, other competitors (I won't say names) have seemed to focus primarily on Hip-hop and have been dominating the scene with that genre. We felt a little pressured and felt like we didn't exactly fit in with that ecosystem since we want to focus mainly on the stuff we actually enjoy making. Don't get me wrong, we'll probably put out a Hip-hop pack here or there, but it's not going to be our main focus and it'll probably be under special circumstances.
That's one of the main reasons we went with Loopmasters. I grew up using samples from the Loopmasters platform, having known about them for about 12 years, and having used stuff from them for around the same time. We really like the fact that they push out most of the underground sounds that I grew up listening to and drawing inspiration from, which is why we decided to go with them as our partner for distributing our samples on their platform.
To clear something up, we're not going to stop posting on our main site. We'll be posting on our site as well as pushing stuff through Loopmasters and Loopcloud, their subscription sample service, so you can download individual sounds from our packs now!
